Starting this Friday, May 24 at Le Milieu, we will be celebrating spring time with an art and food festival we’ve called Eat Your heART Out. This week-long festival has a full schedule featuring  food- and plant-related workshops and events to please both your taste-buds and your brain. We will also be holding a launch party for Le Milieu’s very own Eco-Conscious Catering Service, where we will be showing off our cooking skills. It’s going to be a great week to get out of your house, enjoy the weather, and get to know the people in your community at Le Milieu.

Friday, May 24th: Natural Pigments from Vegetable Ingredients. 5:00 p.m. Cost: 20$.
Saturday, May 25th: 10:00 a.m: Intro to Permaculture with Gardens Without Borders. Cost: $20
 7:00 p.m: Compost Shadow Puppet Performance by Alisha Mascarenhas.
Sunday, May 26th: Family Potluck with Tripfamille: 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 28th: Community Talking Circle: Urban Agriculture and Food Security. 5:00 p.m — 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 29th: Needle Felting Veggies and Fruits with fiberalley. 5:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m. Cost: $10
Thursday: May 30th: Launch Party for Le Milieu’s Eco-Conscious Catering Service. 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Cost: $10
Friday, May 31st: Kombucha Making and Tasting. 5:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m. Cost: $20
Saturday, June 1st: Vernissage, Collective Exhibition: Eat Your heART Out. 4:00 p.m.

The workshop schedule for March has been finalized! We’re welcoming spring with some gardening workshops this month, and we’ve got lots of family events. So we hope to see you, talk with you, and craft with you.
