Afra 

Afra cross-pollinates different forms of DIY arts and self-cultivation, including photography, recycled-materials arts, Tai Chi, meditation, intuitive arts, tarot and oracle cards, and I Ching.  She is an active participant in emerging social economy and takes part in a variety of multi/inter-faith projects, including Sacred Activism Montreal, which she co-founded in 2012.

Rachel

An explorer of the world, Rachel describes herself as expert of nothing but curious of everything! She is interested in connections between art and social change, as well as in the creation of convivial, inclusive and sustainable human-sized neighborhoods in our communities. She is an adept of D.I.Y. and upcycling, and loves experimenting with new materials, techniques and ways of working, and learning through skill-sharing and conversations! She is seeking an harmonious lifestyle inclusive of community involvement, family life, eco-friendly choices and creative fulfillment, or more simply, doing what she loves!

Olga

It's hard for Olga to sit still. In fact, it's not the 'being still' that she finds difficult, but more the 'not being involved' in things she is passionate about or interested in. Born in Europe and raised in Toronto, she finds that her new home - Montreal - is a wonderful blend of Canada with a splash of Europe. As a student studying art therapy, she is interested in culture and the immigration experience, as well mental health and psychology, social change, community involvement, playing... err... working with children, environmental consciousness, advocating and working with special needs populations, crafty upcycling, cooking and urban agriculture. She also really likes to ride her bike.
